About Us: We are a family run business with 30 years’ experience in the trade. We believe in quality craftsmanship, great customer service and most of all, integrity. Our team our drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and are a keen supporter of employing member of the armed forces and public services.
We guarantee quality work at reasonable prices, and offer free estimates. We have an experienced friendly and knowledgeable staff team who are focused on customer satisfaction from start to finish. We are also keen to work with property developers for longer term and larger scale projects. With a near 10/10 satisfaction rate we are proud of the work that we do and believe in a job done well – whether the project is challenging or a simple patch work, no job is to big!

With extensive hands-on plastering experience, the PPS team delivers high-quality finishes across residential and commercial projects, ranging from new builds to renovations and repairs. Their expertise covers all aspects of modern and traditional plastering, ensuring durable results, clean execution, and consistently high standards of workmanship.
Founder & Director
Adam Owen
With a long family history in property management and development, Adam Owen founded Portland Plastering Services (PPS) in 2018 after leaving the British Army, where he served for four and a half years after joining as a Junior Soldier at 16 and deploying on numerous occasions. After his military career, Adam established PPS to deliver high-quality plastering and construction services across SE Kent, combining strong workmanship with excellent customer service while also expanding his work within property development. Alongside running the business, Adam is a retained firefighter for Kent Fire & Rescue, grew up in Cyprus, and is fluent in Greek.

Nic Cobb
Nic Cobb joined Portland Plastering Services in 2020 as the dedicated customer liaison and Business Manager.
With over 15 years of experience in business development, marketing & PR, Nic leads on all marketing, customer liaison as well as developing strategic ties with some of the leading developers in the region. Nic is also a volunteer member of the Dover RNLI.

Guarantee: All completed internal projects also come with a 3 year warranty and subject to the external conditions, we may be able to provide a warranty for render works but this is at our discretion as we are unable to guarantee external factors. The internal warranty covers all reasonable making good works that may arise a result of our workmanship. A certificate of warranty can be provided upon request.
Minimum Project Requirements & No Show Visit Terms: Due to the increasing costs of labour and materials, we operate a minimum of £230.00 for all jobs. In addition if we book a free viewing and upon arrival there is no one there (we will always contact you before), we will send a £40.00 no show invoice to cover our time and fuel costs. Viewings are entirely complimentary but all we ask is that if something changes or you have to re-schedule that you let us know.
Deposit & Payment Terms: We will require upon confirmation to accept the project a small deposit that is non-refundable - this will be followed upon request by a formal note of receipt in PDF and on our letter headed paper. We request a deposit in order to pre-order materials and confirm in the booking.
After a deposit has been received your project will be confirmed and booked in - payment will be due upon completion of the project. If you have any specific payment terms these must be agreed in writing before works begin.
